Snow Hands (Maple Cognac & Maple Scotch Variants)

One of our most requested winter beers has gotten a facelift this year (we now age it in maple syrup/bourbon oak barrels), as well as a couple of small batch variants you don't want to miss!

This year, we pulled a couple of oak barrels' worth of Snow Hands, our big, beautiful Trappist-style dark strong ale that's brewed with real Grade A maple syrup from the Blais family's maple farm in Maine and aged in oak for 12 months, and instead aged them in separate maple syrup-cognac & maple syrup-scotch oak barrels for a full year, then finished with bright, floral spicebush berries before packaging, which layer in just a touch of warm, citrusy spice at the end.
