Saxtoberfest! Bavarian-style Marzenbier

Every fall, the friendly folks here in our little hamlet of Saxapahaw throw a right festive gala that some say rivals the celebrations across the pond in Europe, with tasty bites, lively music and plenty of cold beer for the tourists to enjoy.

As a nod to tradition, we brew this special seasonal batch, which happens to be a little outside our wheelhouse, to allow our friends & fans to enjoy a bright, cold European-style Märzenbier or two wherever you happen to be celebrating this autumn. Prost, y’all!

Ingredients: 2-row pilsner malt, caramel malt
Yeast: House lager yeast
SRM: 6
IBU: 12
ABV: 6.6%
